This balloon view or birds-eye view of Battersea and Chelsea
was included in the Illustrated London News on 9 April 1859, occupying pages 364
& 365. Included on page 368 of the issue was a key map to the view, unfortunately
missing from the MAPCO copy. The key map references 57 buildings and places in
the view.
The view is in very good condition for its age, although damaged
where it was disbound from the Illustrated London News volume. It has a visible
central fold line as issued.
